I spent a long time on this, but I still not happy with it. If I need to fix something, just let me know m(_ _)m

Here's what I'm hearing as I listen to the track--

1. First duet part (or is it a duet part? I don't remember the lyrics--it's the first people who sing) needs to be lowered in volume
2. Second duet/whatever part needs to be tightened up a little with the timing. You may have to adjust the timing between words, because it's clear one track is a little off tempo.
3. Okay, after getting into the chorus I can tell that same track is still off time. You may need to play with just that one, whoever it is.
4. My solo is too loud -- hah, can't believe I'm saying that!
5. Solo after mine is too quiet
6. Next two solos are a little too loud
7. OKAY whoever's singing on the next solo, that's the out of time track! That's the one to fix
8. Kary's solo seems to be just at about the right volume! Go off of what sounds equal with that.
9. Again, chorus could stand to be a little quieter. Just a little, though!
10. Next chorus is really good, but gets a little too loud when the music gets louder. Still, one track is a tiny tiny bit out of time, but it's a little tighter here at the end, it seems. With that track, I'd say to bump it forward a little. That should do a lot to help the timing. If that doesn't work, you may need to get in there and do what I said with adjusting things line-by-line. I know that's frustrating and a lot of work (I have to do it a lot >_< It's annoying), but it makes the whole thing sound sooo much better in the end!

I was having trouble because the person who had the solo after you has kind of bad mic quality so as I boost the volume on that, there is this hiss that gets louder too >.< I'm not sure how to fix it. How long does it normally take you to mix a song?

Oooh yeah, it did sound like the mic was bad quality. Maybe try Noise Removal? If you're using Audacity, that is.

It really depends. Generally about an hour to and hour and a half? But sometimes I mix in vocals as I receive them, so that's a little harder to calculate.

Fixed to the best of my ability. My speakers don't show the volume discrepancies that well, so if there are still some, I don't know how much else to fix it because normally I base volume on wave amplitude.

Anyway, as for the solo after Kappa's, sorry, that one is maxed according to amplitude.

It sounds a ton better, Buggy! Your volume levels are WAAAAAY more even! The one track is still a little bit out of time, but much better, and the quiet solo is a bit louder now.
